A little bit about me:

I'm a mom to three of the most incredible children in the world: Isaac, Abigail and Elise. All of which are preschool and elementary school age. My husband, Tom, is my backbone and support of all my lofty and ambitious dreams. I'm a chronic entrepreneur; I have a habit of starting a new business with each baby
I have. My mission is to support other women and the businesses they dare to dream and create.

Proust Questionnaire, Sept 28, 2010

1. What is your most marked characteristic? My ambition and vision.
2. What is the quality you most like in a man? Authenticity that matches drive and passion with strong family values.
3. What is the quality you most like in a woman? Authenticity, enthusiasm for life and confidence.
4. What do you most value in your friends? Dependability, my friends are amazing and are always there for me..I only hope I’m the same for them.
5. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? My mind NEVER shuts off about business and ideas to grow, improve, support other businesses – it can be exhausting to myself and my friends since I have to talk everything out…no matter what time of the day…
6. What is your idea of perfect happiness? My ultimate dream is to be involved in micro-finance and venture capitalism for women entrepreneur’s across the globe. So, perfect happiness would be doing that and providing for my family and community as a result….preferably near a beach somewhere.
7. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Watching someone you love lose the battle to cancer, especially at a relatively young age like my mother did (age 45).
8. Who are your favorite writers? Don’t really have a favorite. I read ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It” earlier this year by Allison Pearson and it made me both laugh and cry. Great book for working moms; couldn’t have related much more than I did it was so dead-on. I also love “Eat, Pray Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert so much I wrote a business plan using the same principles.
9. What is your current state of mind? Contently discontent.
10. What is your motto? Take your place. Make your mark. Live your life. 
11. What is your greatest fear? Not being able to provide every experience (NOT material possession) my 3 children ask for in life..aka: harvard, mission trips, academy sports clubs, whatever their heart leads them to pursue…etc. It’s what drives me to succeed.
12. What is your greatest extravagance? A minivan…and I’m serious.
13. On what occasion do you lie? When I don’t want to disappoint someone and say I can’t do something. Then, I figure out how to do it later.
14. What do you dislike most about your appearance? I have scars everywhere from a car accident and wish they didn’t exist – but will take being alive in trade any day. I’m happy with everything else.
15. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? ‘I’m over it’..because I never really am..and ‘You’ve got to be kidding me’ when my kids make the millions of messes that 3 kids can and will do.
